We realise home’s and pet’s are uniquely valued to everyone and completely irreplaceable. However, to give you “peace of mind”, we come fully insured with public liability and pet care insurance. Happy to show you these during our “get to know you” visit.
Sometimes, pet’s can have a little hiccup though- so if this happens we will always notify you right away and ask you how you want us to handle things. For instance, let’s say your cat can’t stop scratching a spot… we will be sure to let you know and take them off to your local vet right away if that’s what you want. We love animals here at My Guardian Angels, and we will always make sure your pets well-being is our top priority.
Likewise, sometimes a light bulb can blow or the water pipe into the house can burst- but we will discuss action plans with you in your “get to know you” visit so these issues can be of the least disturbance to your time away.
The above are extremely rare… but it’s always best to be prepared for the worst of course!

We know it’s a big deal letting somebody into your home, and so all of our Guardian Angels are fully DBS checked, and sign non-disclosure-agreements to ensure your home remains private. Our Guardian Angels are not permitted to take any photos or videos of your pets (without your permission) and are not permitted to take photos or videos inside your home- this is out of respect, as well as for home security reasons.
In the same way, we ask that you notify our Guardian Angels of any CCTV you have in/around the home so that they also have their privacy respected. We understand the need for home CCTV (particularly in high crime areas), but CCTV in spaces where our Guardian Angels will be sleeping or bathing are strictly not tolerated (for obvious reasons!).
